Last night JC and I had to record a bit and I needed to pick up my new car so to kill 2 birds with one stone I had him drop me off at my grandparent’s house. When we arrived I told him “Please don’t be scared because when we turn the corner Hannah will be at the window.” JC asked “Who’s Hannah?” I said “She is the manikin that stands in the window.” As soon as we turned the corner sure enough he was like “Oh my god!” I know it’s odd but my nin is convinced she helps keep burglars out. I understand the concept of that but none the less it’s a little bit freaky. He met my nin and papaw then we jumped in my car and left. I love to drive fast and my neighborhood has great twists and turns so I thought I would just punch it. I could tell JC was a little scared so I only did it for like 3 min. If it’s just me in the car that is one thing but I would hate to the reason something bad happened to him. We finished recording “Happy Couple” and then I dropped him back off. When I got back to my apt. I decided to attend my first apt. social since it was after all Fat Tuesday. The minute I walked in I started to look for Josh who works with us and also lives in the complex. Before I could find him this guy walked up and the first thing he said was “I’m not a stalker.” WHAT??? Who say’s that other than stalkers. He said he has seen me around the complex and asked if I remembered him. I didn’t but his whole vibe rubbed me the wrong way. Finally Josh walks in and I dart over to the other side of the room with this look on my face like HELP ME PLEASE! I ended up talking with him for a little while and then met 3 new friends so I am super excited about that. The one girl Dora was so sweet I hope I run into her again and who knows maybe even have a new friend out of it. I am definitely looking for a cool chick to hang out with now that my BFF Taylor is busy with her new job and Jason. I’m not saying I won’t see Tay but our time spent hanging out has just become less and less. On a plus side we do have date night coming up and I am really pumped about it.

So did you talk to the stalker guy at all or pretty much ignore him?
I completely understand the apartment stalker. I had one that left a note on my car listing all the places he had seen me around the complex and how he never had enough courage to introduce himself but could I call him and he would take me out to eat for steak and seafood and we could discuss his new book being published (yeah right). Freaked me out because I lived by myself. Luckily I had a boyfriend at the time and it kind of turned into a joke between us. But still scary when I was by myself. And I figured out who it was and he lived with his elderly mother, who by the way was an absolute sweetheart, so then I had to start avoiding her because she would talk to me about her son and how he thought I was so pretty. He probably means no harm but I feel your uncomfortableness.
Oh girl. I totally understand about the apartment stalker. I was taking my trash out, and this guy just couldn't mind his own business and leave me alone. He proceded to follow me back to my apartment and talked about how he was some outstanding diplomat and junk. I really just think that he was trying to get me to his apartment, I mean, he kept saying "I've got lovely pictures that you should see." Don't let anyone make you feel bad becuse you felt uncomfortable. Sometimes people forget that being a girl and living alone can make someone overly cautious, which isn't a problem most of the time. Have fun with your new car!
WHOA the first comment sounds like your stalker himself!! haha but anyways your blog are so funny, keep em coming! ~Gin
Hey there! I sooo understand the needing to find a cool chick to hang out with. All of my friends are in relationships, doing their own thing, and I am currently going through one of those break ups that are absolutely no fun. I would love to and am looking to make new friends. I am on your friends, my name is Mandi, and I will be glad to email you my cell and we can hang out, go out, whatever! Talk to you later!
ok i really have to ask u a big favor can we pleeeeaaase go out to diner sometime. i would love to get to know u better. u r so beautiful and i would take off from work and fly all the way from south carolina to texas just to go to dinner with u. i'll show u how a woman is supposed to be treated.
forget people
Whoa, there are some pretty strange comments on here. I guess that's what you get when you're a recognizable person, huh? Well, I enjoy listening to you each morning. I think you offer some fun insights and good stories. Though, Tuscany is technically a region of Italy, not a city or country :)
You really are annoying. You don't add anything to the show, you have no talent, you aren't funny, and your voice is the equivalent of nails against a chalkboard. Seriously, I don't understand why anyone would think you belong on radio. You give women in their 20's a bad reputation. I hoped you would have been gone by now.
And just so you know, you aren't THAT pretty.
so...everyone's so curious about your new car! what is it???
<3
I love how you posted this blog at 3 am LOL.... LOVE YOU GIRL..
Miss Me
When is your last day? I can't wait.
Hey Taylor,
Ignore all these petty haters...why do they waste their time posting stuff like that? I'll never understand it...Anyway, I think you're great, and you'll be missed when you leave the show! Have a good one...
what kind of car did you get?
Hey Taylor! I just found out from my friend Judy I got a shout out on your blog, so I thought i should comment. Sorry to say you mispelled my name. :>) Its actually Dori, but no worries. I've been traveling so much lately for work, but things should settle down next week. We really should hang out! Its been hard getting girl time in lately with work, so I could use some. Hope to see you at the St. Patty's day party!
~Dori
