Last night I was minding my own business when I happen to look up at the TV. There was some pointless basketball game on but I swear just as I looked up one of the players is looking down and we made eye contact. It was so weird I really feel like we were looking at each other. Okay that’s never happened before. Okay I know it’s random but I just thought I would share.
Valentines Day:
I will not recognize this day and by this I mean S.A.D. That’s right singles awareness day and it upsets to have to do this. I have always been the one wearing all red and handing out cute little valentine’s to everyone but not this year! NO! I am not going to acknowledge it because it will only make me sad and I only have room for happy positive energy in my world. I am use to this day sucking with crappy last minute gifts from Jess but at least I had someone there at the end of the day. Well that’s not good enough anymore because dangit I deserve better! This year I will not cry, or gripe over a bad present that was forced because, it’s not like he had 364 days think about it. This year I am going to quietly be happy for those in love but not make a big production about it. To those who are happy in a relationship YAY! YAY for your big neon signs on your desk or in your cubicle in the form of beautiful flowers and chocolates and cards. You know what those signs are saying they are saying HEY TAYLOR YOUR SINGLE AND ALONE!
Walking through the office? Passing all the cubicles SINGLE AND ALONE SINGLE AND ALONE! HEY TAYLOR YOUR SINGLE AND ALONE! SINGLE AND ALONE!

Girl, that is exactly how I feel! But I don't want to let it bum me out either. I am taking the, "I am going to try my damndest to convince myself I don't care" approach. Trying to force myself to be positive is one of the hardest things I have ever tried to do but that is my goal for 2007. First single on Valentines day ever but you know what, you're right that it isn't any better to have a crappy valentine either! Good luck to finding what you are looking for (and do me a favor and wish some good luck on me too while you're at it!) ;)
Okay Taylor. I get that you're hurting or maybe just bummed out about being single on V-Day, but pretending to not be hurt is like taking love advice from Big Al.....it's just not gonna work...unless you're wanting to break-up, but anyway back to what I was saying. I guess what it boils down to is to finally be happy with someone else or be okay with being single you have to be happy with yourself first. You set the example of how you want to be treated by the way you treat yourself. If you're anything off the air like you are on the air you're a cool girl, not to mention hot, but alass a cool girl still. Hope you had a happy Valentine's, and have fun tonight with the bitter bad girls.
One Valentine's Day, I was going through a terrible divorce. I was visiting my parents and my dad brought out this huge heartshaped box of candy. He told me I was beautiful and that I was still his Valentine. For me, this day is about sharing love....not being in love.
So today....make sure the people in your life know how much you love them.

I am too a participant of S.A.D. have have decided to give out THOSE presents today instead of Valentines Day presents! I went through a pretty rought break up last month, and the last thing I really want is everyone reminding me I'm single AGAIN! I plan on wrapping myself up in a blanket, making some dinner and watching the Wedding Crashers... I hope your S.A.D. is wonderful (if that is indeed possible!) :D

dont fake like your happy on valentines day becuase you dont have a date. it only makes you stronger. I dont have much of a date either and what i mean by it makes you a little stronger is well, you can hold your head up high while saying in your head this girl needs no guy to have a great valentines day!!you can just go out and have a fun ladies night and just have a fun vlentines day with your friends. thats what i plan on doing i think ill have alittle more fun then going out with some guy if i just forget about it and go have a blast with my friends.
